H&M is one of the leading high street brands that is attempting to launch and branch more and more into sustainable products. Although there is still a lot of fair criticism against high street brands and their ethics on sustainability, I personally think its alway better to encourage their efforts and showing that the public want more sustainable options. Naturally all businesses towards what sells and boycotting docent lead to that.
So I tested these three products from their sustainable beauty range called Conscious. These products include a deodorant, a dry shampoo and a liquid soap. Basically all your necessities this summer for the festival season and weekends away. Here are the verdicts of each product tested and tried for the last two weeks. Dry Shampoo: The pepper mint scent of this product is divine! Truth be told I have been looking for a shampoo with a peppermint scent for a while now and this gave me the fix I needed. The product itself does its job, it absorbs the grease and theres no need for re applying throughout the day. However there are two things to be noted, one is the way it comes out of the bottle ie its not a spray bit more like a baby powder situation that just pours out. Two the product is white so its not the best for dark haired girls like with most white dry shampoos. However this still gets a solid 4/5 Deodorant: This product is awful. I’m sorry I have to be honest with what is being tested and my god this stuff is unpleasant in every shape and form. Firstly the scent of this deodorant is like a chemical bomb. Secondly it doesnt work. I tried it a couple of times just to make sure and each time I had to endure an embarrassing day of smelling of sweat only after a few hours. Straight into the bin 0/5 Hand wash: I used this soap on my body, which does the same thing as regular body wash except ladders less. The scent of this going back to the peppermint topic is amazing, especially if you want to get a morning wake up call. Its easy to use because of the pump and out of all the products this is the clear winner scoring 5/5 Comments are closed.
